A deserved apology

401 Broken Dreams

401 Broken Dreams

What exactly is happening to those who lost their entire life savings.  It made me think of my grandfather who worked so hard to provide for my mother and his grandchildren.  I’m sure there are many other grandparents out there who thought they could finally set aside worries about the next social security check or VA pension arriving on time, but are now drowning in fear of their next meal, or worse losing their home.   I never liked seeing the elderly suffer.

UAG “Issues” Show Success

Albany’s First Friday Art Night kicking off the month of March into motion was a success for the artist community and for the Upstate Artists Guild.  The turnout was amazing.  People packed the gallery non-stop for the “Issues” exhibit, featuring some of the best work I’ve seen in the area regarding social and political themes.  I am very proud to have shared the space with those artists.   Thank you to all those who came to support me on my openning night, and especially to Mike Sperduto for the poem reading.

I want to extend huge thanks to Engines of Creation for making this kick ass website for me; to my wonderfully beautiful, ultra supportive wife and best friend, Gina; my daughter and inspiration to be a good person, Sophia; and to all of my dear friends and family who always gave me encouragement and honest critiques of my work.
